The FIFO TRAY BUFFER is able to temporarily absorb loaded trays that cannot be received by the downstream equipment, permitting the upstream tray loading system to continue operation.
The TRAY BUFFER features a dynamic spiral accumulator at a minimum required floor space. In case a connected wrapper stops, the dynamic spiral moves upwards extending the track to absorb excess trays. In case the connected wrapper capacity is available again, it empties (and shortens) again at an increased speed.
